Bernadette Norman has been certified as a LEED Accredited Professional by the US Green Building Council. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and is a performance-based rating system for green buildings established by the U.S Green Building Council. This accreditation has come to be accepted as the benchmark for green building, and covers all aspects of a facility, from materials, to energy, water and building operation. LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.
John Torgusen and Bernadette Norman have passed the stringent requirements to become a nationally Certified Water Technologist through the Association of Water Technologies. The CWT designation reflects the highest level of competence in the water treatment industry. Only 301 individuals worldwide hold the CWT designation.
